Meet Our Seniors
Taylor Beeson-Kent grew up in Southern California, where she now attends California Lutheran University. She will be graduating in May 2021 with a bachelor's degree in Multimedia, with an emphasis in Graphic Design and Print, along with a minor in Art. She has experience with digital art and illustration, social media, photography, brand identity, web, marketing, and all things design related. Taylor has a true passion for all of these, and is looking forward to a career where she can utilize her industry knowledge, showcase her variety of skills, and express her natural creativity.
Remi has a strong passion for photography, video, and editing. She loves to take photos and videos of memories she can edit to create content that is cherished forever. Remi likes the aspect of being able to tell a story through film and pictures. One of her biggest inspirations is Indy Blue and aspires to travel the world and share her work across different media just like her. She is a Multimedia major with an emphasis in High Definition Digital Cinema.
Wyatt is an entertainer first and foremost. As a self-proclaimed “meme design” student, he’s constantly refining his motion graphics and editing to amaze clients and make friends laugh. He’s willing to spearhead an entire project, from script writing to voiceover to animating to everything in between, so long as he knows the end product will be something sensational or silly. As a Multimedia Department Assistant, Wyatt is more than ready to teach his skills to others, so they too can be the court jester.
Heather is a multimedia student with a passion for illustration and character design. When she’s not working, she would be binging Korean dramas, anime, and venturing the worlds of Genshin Impact. She is a Multimedia major with an emphasis in Visual effects, Motion Graphics & Animation.
Marissa was born and raised in Southern California. Her passion for Graphic Design started her sophomore year of high school when she joined her school’s Graphic Design program and finished it her senior year with High Honors. After graduation, she plans on getting a Masters degree in Library Science to be a children and teen librarian. She is a Multimedia major with an emphasis in Graphic Design and Print.
Hi my name is Jason Hellebrand. I was born and raised in Yorba Linda, CA and spent most of my childhood playing baseball. Growing up I have always had a love for electronics and more specifically video games. Some of my favorite games include League of Legends, Apex Legends, and Call of Duty. In my free time I also build computers for friends. I'm currently in my fourth year at California Lutheran University majoring in multimedia with an emphasis in web and interactivity design.
Jake is from Valley Village and is currently studying user interface design. With a strong personal drive and unique sense of innovation, he is known for always giving his best in every project he tackles, and never fails to turn in quality work that both he and others can enjoy. After graduation, he plans to become a UI Designer, developing mobile apps. In his spare time, he enjoys playing both video games and card games. He is a Multimedia major with an emphasis in Visual Effects, Motion Graphics & Animation.
Hello! My name is Emily Sarah Carlson. I am a senior and a Multimedia major with an emphasis in High Definition Digital Cinema. I’ve been a Screen Actors Guild member for 15 years and I have loved every second of it. In my free time, I like to sing, give back, and hang out with my family. My sister, Ally and I raised enough money to build an elementary school in Guatemala when we were in junior high! Giving back is really important to me and I am so thankful for everyone that helped us achieve such a special goal.
Dylan Janssen is a senior at Cal Lutheran University with a major in Multimedia. Dylan has a passion for script writing and character creating/developing said characters. Creating original stories and plot lines, with personalities for characters and places. Dylan looks to create many different shows either in the form in movies or TV shows. Dylan was inspired to make awesome shows/films by the likes of The Office, Naruto, The Marvel Cinematic Universe, Ed Edd n Eddy, Looney Tunes, Total Drama, Pirates of The Carribean, and more. Dylan is also into making highlight reels for basketball & sports, also making sports posters. Dylan likes to play basketball and skii as well, also has a big passion for making music lyrics, and music videos.
Joshua Thomas Antorietto, better known to my friends as “Shaggy,” grew up in San Diego, California and moved to Los Angles to study multimedia at California Lutheran University where he co created HeadSpace and Sigmund & C.O. clothing brands. Growing up in San Diego he fell in love with the multimedia industry early on at the San Diego Comic Convention where his favorite super heroes came to life. Currently Living in Los Angeles he works as a videographer, graphic designer, and freelance director.
My name is Christopher Johanson, and I am currently a student at California Lutheran University going for a bachelor’s degree in Multimedia. I have experience in motion graphics and video production due to an internship for a solar company. I have a hobby for writing and I also had some experience in computer programming earlier on in my college however I believe that a major in Multimedia suits me for the better. I would like to do some work for educational programs such as the Discovery Channel or go freestyle and do YouTube.
Ashley was born and raised in Southern California and grew up enjoying looking at and creating art. She has been interested in graphic design and animation since she attended Orange County School of the Arts. Ashley enjoyed learning more about motion graphics, art history, and typography at California Lutheran University, and is looking forward to continuing to work as a graphic designer after graduation.
Ariana Pazooki was born in Seattle, Washington and moved to California to study Multimedia at California Lutheran University. She is finishing up her senior year with an emphasis in graphic design and a minor in Art. She has always been interested in media design, and has spent her last 5+ years in school learning and improving her skills. She is eager to continue her career in this field after graduation and will be able to provide exemplary service to any company she finds.
I’m Ally and I will be graduating this May! I have been in the entertainment industry since I was 5 years old and I have been a Screen Actors Guild member since I was 13! I have a sister named Emily who also goes to Cal Lutheran! My major is in Multimedia with an emphasis in High Definition Digital Cinema where I’ve gotten to channel my creativity in all that I do. I am so grateful for all of my professors who have helped me along the way! I have learned so much and I am so thankful!
Sarah has always had an interest in art since her childhood- she was always drawing, writing, taking pictures, etc. Those interests expanded with a new-found love for the Adobe Suite in her senior year of high school. Since then, she has been building her skill set and portfolio in the multimedia field. In her spare time, she longboards at the beach and enjoys a sushi dinner. Sarah loves illustration, design, and photography, and looks forward to seeing where her career takes her after graduation.
Pedro Sanchez is a California native currently attending Cal Lutheran University majoring in Multimedia with an emphasis in HD Cinema. Pedros passions include outdoor activities such as biking, running, swimming and hiking. Currently working as a Technical Expert at Apple, he enjoys troubleshooting, enhancing customer experiences and learning about technology. He hopes to one day work for a fast paced company such as GoPro or RedBull.
Monique Aviña, also known as Big Mo, is an incredibly famous animator… in the making! She is a first generation student majoring in Multimedia with an emphasis in animation at California Lutheran University. Currently, she enjoys assisting others as a Resident Assistant on campus and loves creating unique designs for the University Marketing department as a student designer. She diligently develops her skills to follow her dreams in assisting or creating a cartoon that comforts children or even adults around the world.
Ashley Stalker (yes that’s her last name) is a multimedia designer. Loving to create in many different forms has led her to create kinetic typography to stop motion to piñatas. Her focus is mainly on graphic design and motion graphics and hopes to be doing opening movie sequences in her future.
